WHO ARE WE?

Remembering the forgotten

Our founder Brenden Shank and his family served in Liberia for eight years, during which they were actively involved in humanitarian aid and used small business as a means of building relationships and engaging with Liberians on a personal level. In 2014, their time in Liberia came to an abrupt and unexpected end due to the Ebola outbreak, which required them to leave the country suddenly.

. In 2022, Brenden sensed a clear prompting from the Lord to return to Liberia for a short term trip. As a result, Brenden traveled back with four of his five sons and God showed him the need to Elementary education.

OUR MISSION

Vision for Education and Ministry

During his trip to Liberia, God placed on Brenden's heart a vision to establish a Christ-centered school system dedicated to building and supporting elementary schools, beginning in rural and underserved areas of Liberia

The long term vision is to begin with one school, learn from that experience, and then expand one school at a time. This intentional approach promotes sustainability, accountability, and continuous improvement. Fulfilling this vision will require both financial partners and committed educators-Liberian and international—who are willing to invest their time, experience, and spiritual leadership.

For these schools to effectively impart Gospel truth, it is essential that teachers are Spirit-filled individuals who model Christ both inside and outside the classroom.
